MORE THAN JUST ONE UNIQUE SELLING POINT...

MORE THAN JUST A BEAD...

When the founder of Mzuribeads first tried to market the product in the UK, she was told that there was no market for beads which cannot be mass produced. Mzuribeads took this as a compliment, and went on the search for customers who want a unique bead, one which cannot be replicated.

In respect to a greater concern for the environment, human rights and independent style; the demand for the recycled, handmade, and "one off" product is on the rise.

Mzuribeads are special because the colour of each bead is determined upon the specific recycled paper chosen by the beader. We go to great lengths to obtain the most fashionable and unique colours around. Gathering the best of waste paper from printing companies, and being first in line at the recycled market places.

Our beads are very durable, the larger the bead, the more coats of varnish we apply. This minimizes colour fading, and gives the beads a glossy and water resistant finish.

Each bead is checked for quality and judged on their even coat of varnish, and symmetrical shape.

We are, however, able to cater for requests of large quantities in one colour or tone. For example, if the order is for many beads in light blue. It may take us a little longer, but we are confident that we will succeed.

MORE THAN JUST A PURCHASE...

Mzuribeads is one of the many inspirational projects moving away from charitable aid, and onto the concept of business enterprise for sustainable income and development. We are a cooperative business, which pays a set price, decided as a group, and as advised by the Fairtrade Foundation.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

As each bead is unique, it is important for us to state that we can not replicate our products.

We are able to provide our customers with particular colours and shades, but sometimes we will require a greater time for production, due to the time necessary for the collection of that requested colour of recycled paper.

Our beads are sold in clear plastic bags with a Mzuribeads slip showing in the front.

Our products are sold in packets of six different colours, should you prefer for each packet to be a mix of the assorted colours, as opposed to separated bags containing only one colour in each, please inform us on ordering.
